Answering Service for Directors, Inc. (ASD)

Service information may be exported from SRS and into ASD's web based data entry page without the need to retype information already contained in the SRS database. This collaboration between SRS and ASD enables clients to quickly and accurately relay service information to ASD's Funeral Sync servers.

 

In order to use this feature, an ASD client using Procession may do the following:

1) Click the Import/Export button on the top of the Procession - the following screen appears:

 

 

2) On your initial entry to this screen, enter your ASD Username and Password that you use for your current ASD account. In the case that you have multiple branches, you will need to link your ASD Branch Name with the SRS Branch name. To do this, click the 'Link Selected' button on each branch in the table. Once this is done, you are ready to export information to the ASD web site. You will never need to repeat steps 1 or 2.

 

3) To export a case, simply choose the deceased person in the bottom drop down menu and click Export Case. That's it! It will create a new case if the case hasn't been created already or edit a curent case if it has.
